Chapter 11 - Dev Note 1

There has been quite a bit going on around me in the last few months,  so I haven't got as far along as I would like. Also, I haven't finished the first-time setup stage but I will have that finished tomorrow.

Remember, this is the final chapter of this novel, the long development journey comes to an end after the release of this chapter. Naturally, I'll take my time and ensure I get the ending I want for ATCT story.

There are 337 planned images in the final chapter, 22 scenes with 2 sex scenes. 

Finally, I have never consistently asked or pushed for donations here on Itch or had a 3rd party site like Patreon like other developers do. I always wanted to establish myself as a visual novel developer first and A Town Called Tool was the first novel where I learned how to do all this. 

Please remember that.

With all that being said, I've decided the final chapter will have a charge of £7.99. This is a price I've decided to establish for my visual novels and I do feel A Town Called Tool is worth it, it does currently have 1,496 created images and that doesn't include the final chapter. 

I'll be real, I never expected this Novel to make money as it was my learning novel, it has flaws but my current situation in life has very much dictated a need to charge for the final chapter. This is why I spent all of 2023 redoing the first 5 chapters as I saw my current situation coming, and I felt most of the flaws were in the first 5 chapters.

The first week after release will have a discount and I hope to finish this chapter sometime in the summer.  I also plan to release this on Steam later in the year.

I'll try to keep you updated on the progress of developing the final chapter, but I have a bad habit of getting lost in the work and forgetting to update here. Below is where we are at with chapter 11 right now and the 1% is the 5 images I rendered, so I could have an image to attach to this dev note.
