Chapter 10 - DevNote 2
Sorry for the delay on the chapter's 2nd dev note. I always take time off around Christmas, New Year's and my birthday (8th Jan).
We have been working on chapter 10, and we now have a more accurate guide on the work that goes into producing a new chapter.
I think some of the steps are self-explanatory, but Scene Planning is me taking the script and working out how many images I need to showcase a scene from the written script.
The First Time Setup Stage is me going through and setting up the initial and first image in each scene, essentially a new scene starts a new location. This stage takes the longest to do, as the next step stage is taking that initial file and adjusting it slightly or significantly for the next steps in the scene until the scene is completed.
The final check stage is me going through and deleting anything that isn't needed from the file and doing the render settings, this sounds like a quick step but it takes a long time, due to how slow Daz can be at opening/closing files.
Rendered Images is self-explanatory and the script transfer&programming is me transferring the written script over to Ren'py and matching the rendered images to the dialogue.
