Chapter 9 - Dev Note 2

We're ticking along and doing this as fast as I can, I certainly have quicker render times as getting 4 images rendered each time I sleep and leave the render queue going.

Now for the bad news which is a long story and it's easy for people to relate to as we are all in the same boat, we're all struggling financially right now. Times are tough for all and I'm no different.

I resigned myself to the fact this was my learning project and I never make money from it, understandable considering the state of the first 5 chapters, more so chapters 1-3.  I essentially have decided to rerender chapters 1-5 which had old lighting rigs, but I haven't decided when I'm going to do it. If I redo chapters 1-5, then it opens the door to selling this at some point, I have put years into this novel and I think my quickest route to making money from visual novels is to fix this novel.

The plan was to originally finish this and start a new novel, then sell each update of that new novel or something like that. However, by the time I create new characters, set up location files, and write a new script, it actually takes up more time than redoing chapters 1-5.

As I said, I haven't decided when I'm going to do this and it's not something I looking forward to doing but it will make ATCT much better, which I am looking forward to. I'm leaning towards finishing the novel first before redoing chapters 1-5, but is a part of me that would like to redo before I release the last chapter, doubt I can keep people waiting that long for the conclusion to the story.

I keep you updated on this but for now, my focus is on chapter 9 and then I plan to look at chapter 1 after I release chapter 9, and then go from there.
